VISION

The Integrated Center for the Young envisions itself to be a community of children, parents, professionals, and concerned individuals who possess the following characteristics and virtues:



WELL INTEGRATED & WELL-ROUNDED PERSONALITIES​

Persons who have a positive outlook on challenges and hard work; are tolerant and objective in dealings with others; exercise a genuine concern for mankind and environment; progressive and critical thinkers; are able leaders and competent followers who value the common good​.


CENTERED ON THE ESSENTIAL AND WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT SUCH AS EDUCATION, FAMILY, SOCIETY, CULTURAL AND GLOBAL HERITAGE, SPIRITUALITY, AND VIRTUES

Persons who stay focused on the challenge and task at hand and are unfazed by distractions; hold academic and personal development in high esteem; demonstrate genuine love of and respect for family; are contributing members of the society; have heartfelt appreciation of and pride in one’s cultural and global heritage; are virtuous and spiritual.

MISSION

THE INTEGRATED CENTER FOR THE YOUNG’S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE STUDENTS’ OPTIMUM DEVELOPMENT AND POTENTIAL AND TO ENABLE AND EMPOWER THE COMMUNITY TO BE EFFECTIVE MOLDERS OF CHILDREN’S     PATHWAYS TO DEVELOPMENT.

GOALS FOR PRESCHOOL & GRADE SCHOOL EDUCATION

TO PROVIDE A SAFE, HEALTHY, AND CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS, PARENTS, PROFESSIONALS, AND CONCERNED INDIVIDUALS

  • To provide an environment where students can explore a variety of learning materials and experiences suited to their level and relevant  to their personal situations

  • To provide an environment where students can well become aware of and appreciate their capacities and potentials

  • To provide a welcoming environment for parents, professionals and other individuals concerned for students’ welfare and development

 

TO PROVIDE A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND CURRICULUM THAT CONSIDER EACH CHILD’S UNIQUE CIRCUMSTANCES AND LIMITATIONS IN THE SPIRIT OF GENUINE INCLUSION

  • To provide an environment which celebrates students’ diversity and unique individualities and resources, at the same time appreciating their difficulties and limitations

  • To provide an environment that welcomes all students with a deep sense of belonging and unconditional acceptance

  • To engage all students as productively and as effectively as possible in all aspects of school life

  • To cultivate a family composed of peers and adults who genuinely care about each other and are mutually supportive of each other 

 

TO DEVELOP AND INSTILL IN THE STUDENTS PROPER VALUES, APPROPRIATE SKILLS AND ATTITUDES NECESSARY FOR SCHOOL AND PRACTICAL LIFE 

  • To nurture and develop an insatiable love for learning, discovery and knowledge in students

  • To produce students who have the drive to improve themselves in any way

  • To produce students who are self-propelled and independent thinkers

  • To produce students who possess self discipline and a positive attitude towards life and learning

  • To produce students who are of pleasant disposition, exhibit courtesy and express emotions appropriately 

  • To produce students who are well-adjusted and productive individuals in the company of peers and adults

 

TO PROMOTE AS MUCH EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMIC AND IN NON-ACADEMIC COMPETENCIES THROUGH A HIGHLY PERSONALIZED APPROACH AND WITH A VARIETY OF CAREFULLY SELECTED AND MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES

  • To produce students who exhibit familiarity and competence in all curricular and extracurricular areas

  • To produce students who exhibit competence in all developmental areas 

  • To produce students who have the facility to adjust to a variety of learning styles and apply knowledge and skills in different situations

  • To produce students who know what their talents, abilities, weaknesses and potentials are and use this knowledge to develop their persons fully

 

TO INCULCATE IN THE STUDENTS SOUND AND BALANCED NATIONALISM, APPRECIATION FOR CULTURAL AND GLOBAL HERITAGE, AND CONCERN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND PRESERVATION OF HUMANITY

  • To produce students who are aware of social issues, show concern and are protective of their natural environment

  • To produce students who are aware of and are concerned with local and national issues

  • To produce students who nurture a heartfelt appreciation of and genuine pride in one’s country and nationhood

 

 

TO MOLD STUDENTS INTO BECOMING CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKERS AND CARING INDIVIDUALS 

  • To produce students who are able to come up with solutions to life and school problems critically and creatively and always with concern for doing what is just and right  

  • To produce students who manifest respect and concern for others and a willingness to be of service to others whenever possible

  • To produce students who demonstrate tolerance and compassion for individuals with diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, and abilities and consider all persons as equals
